Eyelash extensions should be applied by licensed professionals only, and requires hands on training in the beauty or medical industries.   Trying to apply eyelash extensions either to you own eyelashes or by an untrained technician, may cause injury or might be left with eyelashes that will appear unnatural and clumpy.

Establishing a comfortable environment and relationship with the customer , will make the process smoother and a successful application.

Usually an eyelash application procedure takes about 2 hours, depending on the number of eyelashes that are being applied. The eyelash extensions are individually applied to the natural lashes and the procedure is virtually pain free.

Special bonding agents are used to attach them to the natural lashes.  These adhesives dry on the lashes but allow them to remain flexible and bouncy.  A water resistant seal is applied around the eyelashes so that they will last longer.   The average cost of the eyelash extension application is anywhere between $250.00 and $450.00, depending on the specialist, salon and area.   

One complimentary retouching should be given as a service to the customer, 1 or 2 weeks after application.  Afterwards, touch ups may cost $25.00 to $50.00.
